KUNKEL, VIOLET ROST
Violet Rost Kunkel, 80 years old of Ponchatoula, formerly of Metairie, La., 
passed away Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at her residence. Violet was born on 
Monday, July 25, 1932, in New Orleans.  Surviving are daughter, Kathy 
Kunkel, son & daughter-in-law, John Bernard Kunkel III and Nanette Kunkel, 
grandchildren, Kayla Edwards and Her husband Timmy, Kaysie Willig, 
Catherine Matherne and Matthew John Kunkel, deceased grandson, John Bernard 
Kunkel IV, sister, Patricia Wadliegh.  She is preceded in death by husband, 
John Bernard Kunkel Jr., parents, William Joseph Rost and Catherine Mathis 
Rost, sisters, Delores Palermo and Muriel Rost, brothers, Jack and Henry 
Rost.  Friends will be received Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, from 6 p.m. until 
9 p.m. at Midway Baptist Church. Services will be held at Midway Baptist 
Church, Thursday, at 7 p.m. with Rev. Jimmy Wall officiating. The family 
request no flowers, donations may be made to Midway Baptist Church, P.O.
