He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving and devoted wife of 16 years, Barbara Graham LaBee. He is survived by his children, Marlette ( Kirk ) Harness- Scott, Shani Monique (Al) LaBee-Williams, Lawrence Robert LaBee IV and Brennen LaBee. He leaves his mother Lillie Mae and Charlie Cooper; 2 brothers, Dedrick (Candice) LaBee, Rochelle Rudison, and 1 sister, Fredia Brooks. Robert also leaves behind to cherish his memories 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 2 aunts, Hilda Ruffin and Maxine (Josh) Chapple .Three uncles, Arthur (Lois) Hughes Jr., Robert (Gloria) Hughes, and Frank (Tiney) LaBee. He was preceded in death by his father, one sister and his, maternal grandparents. Visitation will be held on Friday March 16th from 4 until 8 p.m. at Mount Kingdom Missionary Baptist Church in Tickfaw, LA. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday March 17th. Interment will follow at Holly Gardens Cemetery in Hammond, LA. N. A. James Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Ponchatoula - Lawrence Robert "Sam" Labee Jr., 71, died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2000, at North Oaks Medical Center. He was a native of Tickfaw. Survivors include a son, Lawrence Robert Labee III; sister, Helen Seymore, New Orleans; three brothers, the Rev. Earnest Labee, Tickfaw, Frank Labee, Ponchatoula, Floyd Labee, New Orleans; and four grandchildren. Visitation will be at N.A. James Funeral Home, Wednesday from 3 to 8 p.m. The Rev. C.R.
