LABOURDETTE, WILMA R.
A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Ms. Wilma passed away
on Friday, November 14, 2008 at the age of 82. She was a resident of
Hammond and a native of Deville, Louisiana.  Ms. Wilma is survived by her
four loving daughters, Susan Creel and husband Jim, Cindy Pittman and
husband Gary, Jenny Mizell, Jo Duffy and husband Wayne; caring son, Pete
Labourdette and wife Elizabeth; precious grandchildren, Sidney Creel,
Robert Pittman, Jennifer Hodes, Josh and Katie Mizell, Jake and Mia
Labourdette along with her cherished great-grandson, Ryan Pittman. Her
sister Vergie Tingle also survives her.  She was preceded in death by her
husband, Pierre Noel Labourdette, Sr.; sister, Dorothy Merrill; brothers,
Herbert and Lionel Rosier; parents, Henry and Delia McKay Rosier.  A Mass
of Christian burial was held at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Albany on
Saturday, November 15, 2008, celebrated by Fr. Joseph Arogyasami, I.M.S.
Interment followed in the church cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial
donations may be sent to North Oaks Hospice, P.O. Box 2688, Hammond, La
