LACHNEY, KENT JOSEPH
Albany - Kent Joseph Lachney, 44, died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2001 at Lallie Kemp
Medical Center. He was a native of Marksville. Survivors include his wife,
Dena Starkey Lachney, Albany; daughter, Sierra Leann Janney, Zachary; son,
Kenneth "Kenny" Wall, Angie; two stepsons, Butch and Bockie Brecheen,
Albany; stepdaughter, Virginia Bahm Bailey, Ponchatoula; two sisters, Jean
Rodriguez and Debra Lachney, St. Francisville. His parents, Kirdy and Sadie
Dauzat Lachney; stepsister, Ina Partridge; and stepson, Irby Lachney,
preceded him in death. Visitation will be at Promise Baptist Church, state
Highway 442 and Stilley Road, today from 4 p.m. until the funeral at 2 p.m.
Tuesday. The Rev. Jerry Addiston will conduct the service, and burial will 
be in New Life Baptist Church Cemetery, Albany. Geisler Funeral Home,
Albany, is in charge.
