Lackmann Shotgun Victim - Funeral services were held on Tuesday morning for George Lackmann, victim of a shotgun blast on Sunday, March 26. He was an employee of O.K. Body Shop in Amite and member of the Big Creek Church of Christ. He was a native of New Orleans and a resident of the fourth ward for most of his life. He was 36 years old. His survivors include his widow, Elmer Rae Williams Lackmann; two daughters: Gewndlon Lorraine and Mona Louise; and a sister, Mrs. Glenn Ballard, all of the Chesbrough area. Religious services were held from the Big Creek Church of Christ with Rev. John Fulda conducting. McKneely Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Interment was in the Hayden cemetery. ***************************************************************************
