She was 98 and a native of Washington Parish. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 8:30 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Jim Howell. Interment in Howell Cemetery. Survived by three daughters, Margie Howell, Tickfaw, and Rachel Lagroue and Bertha McMurry, both of Baton Rouge; 23 grandchildren, 35 great-grand- children and four great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her first husband, Willie Self; second husband, Elbert Massey; third husband, Sam Lancaster; three sons, Charles, Edgar and Lucius Self; mother, Doshie Gill; father, Zack Forrest; a brother, Tommy Forrest; and four sisters, Clotil Passman, Elva Barnes, Aline Durand and Leola Holmes. ***************************************************************************
