JOHN JACOB JR., (U.S. NAVY RETIRED) A resident of Hammond, he died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2000, at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. He was 63 and a native of Cairo, Ill. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret Catholic Church, Albany, at 10 a.m. Tuesday, celebrated by the Rev. Monsignor Leo Guillot. Interment in church cemetery. Survived by his wife, Pat Tuger Tucker Langan, Hammond; a daughter, Erin Langan, Seattle; mother, Cecile Rushing Langan, Carbondale, Ill.; a stepdaughter, Wendy Tucker Wing, Nashville, Tenn.; three stepsons, Thomas "Tommy" Tucker, Ponchatoula, and William "Billy" Tucker and Roger "Butch" Tucker, both of Hammond; two brothers, Michael Langan, Pasadena, Calif., and Don Langan, Carbondale; three granddaughters, Trysten, Taylor and Madison Tucker; and two grandsons, Ryan and Cory Tucker.
