She was 90, a native of Independence and a resident of Kenner. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 8 a.m. Monday until religious service at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Colonial Cemetery, Independence. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Vincent and Carol Lashouto, Ponchatoula, and Salvador and Glee Lashouto, Metairie; a daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Buck Evans, Independence; five grandchildren, David Lashouto, Lisa Chiusano, Chad Evans, Amy Lashouto and Christy Evans; two great-grandchildren, Courtney Lashouto and Brooke Lashouto; four sisters, Sarah Maniscalco, Mary Whiddon, Jennie Lamonica and Susie Lamonica, all of Independence; and a brother, Nurphy Maniscalco, Metairie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlo Lashouto; a sister, Josephine Maniscalco; three brothers, Domincik Maniscalco, Kelly Maniscalco and Tony Maniscalco; and parents, Antonio and Rosalie Danna Maniscalco.
