LASSERE, MELBA WELLS
Melba Wells Lassere passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family 
at her residence in Bedico, La., on Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012, at the age of 
88.  Beloved wife of the late Harris T. Lassere. Daughter of the late James 
A. Wells and Emily F Wells. Mother of Brenda Davidson (Rene), Sherry 
Trudeau (Charles) ad Stephanie Lassere. Grandmother of Kim Tumminello 
(Vincent), Warren Migaud, Jr., Debra Johnson, Charles Trudeau III 
(Katrina), Ann Marie Entrekin (Michael) and Jeremy David Roussel.  Survived 
by 10 great-grandchildren. Sister of the late Dennis Wells. Loyal and best 
friend to Helen Milton and Alvin Perilloux.  Melba was a native of Robert, 
La., and a former resident of New Orleans and Metairie. She enjoyed most 
maintaining her home and gardening.  The family would like to express 
sincere appreciation to Hospice of St. Tammany for their love and care 
given to Melba.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation 
at Mothe Funeral Home, 1300 Vallette Street, Algiers, La., on Thursday, 
Feb. 23, 2012, from 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. A funeral mass will be 
celebrated at the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment will be in 
Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, La.  In lieu of flowers, masses
