The Ledet infant died Friday, May 12, in New Orleans. Survivors are her mother, Jennifer Ledet of New Orleans; her grandmother, Janice Burgdahl; a brother, Collin Ledet, all of Ponchatoula; and her grand- fathers, Sim Ledet of Folsom and W. She was born on Tuesday, February 6, 1934 in Hammond, daughter of the late Joseph and Ninfa Nicolosi Monistere. Mrs. Ledet was a member of member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of America. Surviving are 5 daughters, Victoria L. Foti, Barbara L. Addison, Laura L. Kinchen, Rose L. Roy, Pam L. Alack; son , Alvin J. Ledet Jr.; 18 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Marianna Mayeaux, Mary "Bannie" Siciliano and 2 brothers, Salvadore and Nat Monistere. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin J. Ledet Sr. and sister, Kathrine Strack; 4 brothers, Christopher J., Vincent L., Anthony G., and Albert Monistere Sr. Friends will be received Sunday, July 20, 2008, from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm and on Monday, July 21, 2008 from 8:00 am until 10:15 am at the Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond. Services will be held at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Monday, July 21, 2008 at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in the Rose Memorial Park Cemetery in Hammond.
