LEDFORD, MARIE CENTANNI
Marie Centanni Ledford, a native of Kenner and longtime resident of 
Hammond, departed this world on Friday, Sept. 2, 2011, in the 90th year of 
her life. She was a devoted mother to Ava L. Ladell and Michael B. Ledford 
(wife Kristi), of Hammond, James F. Ledford, of Baton Rouge, and V. Gregory 
Ledford, of Houston, and granny to Scott Ladell, of Houston, Andy and Alia 
Ledford, of Baton Rouge, and Austen, Cameron, and Kristen Ledford, of 
Hammond. Also survived by her brother, Salvatore Centanni, of Kenner, and 
28 nieces and nephews. Marie was one of nine children born to Rosario 
(Sido) and Louise Centanni, one of the first five families to settle in 
Kenner at the turn of last century. She was valedictorian of Kenner High 
School and earned a degree in home economics education from LSU. Visitation 
at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Hammond, on Tuesday, Sept., 6, from 9 a.m. 
until Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m.  Entombment in Rose Memorial Park 
Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity. An

LEDFORD, REBECCA FAITH LOVING
Ms. Rebecca Faith Loving Ledford, 49 years old of Hammond, died Sunday,
December 2, 2007 at her residence.  She was born on Thursday, November 13,
1958 in Louisville, Kentucky, daughter of Bruce and Lee Juban Loving.
Ms. Ledford taught kindergarten at Woodland Park Early Learning Center.
Surviving are her son, Austen Ledford; parents, Bruce and Lee Juban Loving;
3 sisters, Davilyn Rainwater, Hollis Hinsch and Courtney Loving.  Friends
will be received Monday, December 17, 2007 from 3:00 pm until the memorial
service begins at 4:00 pm at Grace Memorial Episcopal Church with Rev. Paul
Bailey officiating.  Condolences may be e-mailed to:
