LEDOUX, ELEANOR WILLIAMS
A retired educator, having taught in the Tangipahoa Parish school system at
Champ Cooper and Pine Ridge schools, she died Monday, Dec. 25, 2000, at
North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. She was 78, a resident of Loranger and
a native of Kentwood. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home
chapel, Hammond, from 10 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Wednesday, 
conducted by the Rev. Richard Ledoux and the Rev. Donald Collins Jr.
Interment in Woodland Cemetery, Kentwood. Survived by her husband, Ernest
Ledoux, Loranger; a daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Gerald Watts, Baton
Rouge; two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Wanda Collins Ledoux,
Loranger, and James Michael and Deeann Austin Ledoux, Seymour, Tenn.; a
sister, Helen Marie Sumrall, Baton Rouge; a brother, Joseph J. Williams
Jr., Kentwood; six granddaughters and six great-grandchildren. Preceded in
death by her parents, Joseph and Frankie Fortenberry Williams; and a
brother, Stanley Williams. She was a 1960 graduate of LSU.

LEDOUX, ERNEST HORACE, JR.
A retired electrician at Louisiana Power & Light, he died Tuesday, Feb. 6,
2001, at his residence in Loranger. He was 82 and a native of Independence.
He was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran of World War II. Visitation at Harry
McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 10 a.m. until religious services
in the chapel at 2 p.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Richard Ledoux and
Donald Collins. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, Kentwood. Survived by a
daughter and son-in-law, Betty Ledoux Watts and Gerald Watts, Baton Rouge;
two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Wanda Collins Ledoux, Loranger,
and James Michael and Dee Ann Austin Ledoux, Seymour, Texas; six grand-
daughters, Kathy Lea, Geri Leche, Melanie Tucker, Amy Lynn Ledoux, Ashley
Ledoux and Jayme Ledoux; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Leroy
Ledoux, Phenix City, Ala. Preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Williams
Ledoux; parents, Ernest and Hattie Henderson Ledoux; and a brother, James
Ledoux. He was a member and past master of Pine Grove Masonic Lodge,
Ponchatoula.

Joseph was born on September 7, 1936 and passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 
2013. Joseph was a resident of Tickfaw, Louisiana.
