She was 69 and a native of Hammond. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 9 a.m. Wednesday until religious service at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Sidney Newell. Interment in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker. Survived by her husband of 48 years, Robert Larry Lemings Sr.; a daughter and son-in-law, Nita Lemings Day and Tommy Day; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bob Lemings and Sherrie Owens Lemings and Tommy and Becky Lemings; two brothers, Robert Foster, Baton Rouge, and Mayor Mayson Foster, Hammond; and five grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Allen and Curtis Davis, Mayson, Robert and John Foster and Sammy Beatty. Honorary pallbearer is Tommy Day. Preceded in death by her mother, Etta Foster; father, Thomas R. Foster Jr.; and a brother, Thomas R. Foster III. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Judson Baptist Association, Gonzales Seaman's Center, 1411 Weber Drive, Gonzales, LA 70737 or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
