He was a retired truck driver. Survivors include his wife, Catharine Saulsberry Lenoir; one daughter, Diane Lenoir Washington of Summit, Miss.; one son, J.B. Lenoir of Raceland; one sister, Annie Mae Kennedy of New Jersey; two brothers, Jewel Lenoir and Alex Lenoir, both of Mississippi; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and three brothers. Her irreplaceable smile and bubbly and exciting personality, and her passionate concern and care for others will be missed forever by all those who knew and loved her. A homemaker, she was born in Amite to Mavis Gill Chapman and Marshal C. Chapman Sr. She graduated from Woodland High School in St. Helena Parish in 1973. She is survived by her husband, Jim Lenoir; sons, Chris Lenoir and his wife, Kelly, and Brad Lenoir and wife, Lacey; nephews, Dylan Chapman, Tyler Chapman, Gabriel Chapman, David Henry and Greg Chapman; nieces, Donna Breeland, Marsha Ann Chapman and Jessice Leigh Chapman; brothers, Ted Chapman of Amite; sisters, Linda Breeland Dunn, who was her caregiver, and Helen Faye Chapman Henry; and two grandchildren, Madison Lenoir and Austin Lenoir. She was preceded in death by her brother, Marshall C. Montie N. Lenoir, 66, died at his home in Hammond Friday, June 23. He was the youngest son of Capt. William B. Lenoir of the prominent Lenoir family of North Carolina. Funeral services were held at the home of his brother- in-law, C. C. Carpenter, last Saturday. Interment was in Metairie cemetery in New Orleans.
