She was 82 and the youngest of six siblings. She was a retired BellSouth employee with many years working at the Baton Rouge facility. She died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2005, in McComb, Miss., at the Southwest Mississippi Medical Center at 12:40 p.m. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Kentwood. She never met a stranger. She was a very loving person and met everyone with her radiant smile and kind words. She is survived by Peter Tucker of Mandeville, La., Colleen Tucker of Flagstaff Az., and Bryon Tucker of Santa Barbara, Ca. She was preceded in death by her husband John Young, daughter April Taylor and sister Isabel Tucker. Patricia donated her body to the LSU School of medicine in New Orleans and requested no formal services.
