Survived by three daughters, Carol Paul, Central, and Joan Davis and Judy LeSaicherre, both of Hammond; a son, Lynwood LeSaicherre, Ponchatoula; a sister, Marie Adams, Ponchatoula; three grand- children, Michael Davis, Darlene Redden and Jimmy Paul; and three great- grandchildren, Rachel, Jennifer and Christopher Paul. "JOE" "BEE" "RED" Died Friday, Jan. 14, 2005, in Gonzales, at age 81. Visiting was at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 16. Visiting at the funeral home from 8 a.m. until religious service at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 17, conducted by the Rev. Joel LaBauve. Interment in Ficklin Cemetery, Prairieville. Born in New Orleans on Dec. 30, 1923, he resided in Gonzales since 1954. He was a retired test desk technician for South Central Bell with 36 years of service. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, having served aboard the aircraft carrier USS Bataan and earned six battle stars in the Pacific Theater. He spent two years with the 122nd Light Bomber Squadron based in New Orleans. He is survived by his wife, Katherine Joyce LeSaicherre; son and daughter-in-law, Kerry and Jackie LeSaicherre; three daughters and a son-in-law, Kathy and Brent Conerly, Zachary, Donna LeSaicherre, Ponchatoula, and Danette Daigle, Prairieville; stepsons and stepdaughters, Kenneth Hughes, Joplin, Mo., Waymouth Waggenspack, Gonzales, and Vicki Hughes, Hattiesburg, Miss.; nine grandchildren, six stepgrand- children and two stepgreat-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph A. LeSaicherre Sr.; mother, Modest Arceneaux LeSaicherre; and brother, Earl James LeSaicherre. Pallbearers will be Kerry LeSaicherre, Reggie Richie, Corey Richie, Aaron Waggenspack, Sean Connerly and Daniel Daigle. Honorary pallbearer is Buran Singletary. He was a past commander of VFW Post 3693 and a member of American Legion Post 81, Disabled American Veterans Unit 45, the USS Bataan CVL-29 Association, National Rifle Association, Telephone Pioneers of America. He was 68 years old and a U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by his fianc/e, Waltraud Baham and her family; one son, Thomas Baham and daughter-in-law, Valerie Baham; two daughters, Eva Braase and son-in-law Mike Braase and Gabriela Schaeffer and son-in-law Brian Scheaffer; one grandson, Nicholas Harper; and three granddaughters, Taylor Scheaffer, Jessica and Jenna Baham.
