Rolling, where she had lived for the past two years, having moved from her life-long home in Jackson, Tennessee. She was born August 28, 1913 to the late William Thomas Rowsey and Dora Vanderford Rowsey. Mrs. Lett was an active member of First Presbyterian Church of Jackson and taught Sunday School classes for many years at all age levels. She was active in the Presbyterian Women and Bible moderator in the circles of the church. She worked with the PTA and was a Girl Scout leader for 8 years, also training other women to become scout leaders. She was very active in community projects and civic endeavors and an ardent supporter of the Arts Council, working with the Community Concert Series. She was active in the Jackson Symphony League and was instrumental in organizing the first group of debutantes sponsored by the League, also serving as secretary. She was a past president and 33-year member of the Mutual Improvement (Literary) Club, Friends of the Library, and the Jackson Evergreen Garden Club, in which she held elected offices. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Edward "Butch" Rolling, of Hammond, and a sister-in-law, Rose Rowsey of Castaic, Ca. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 1573 N.
