"PLUKE" A former resident of Hammond, he departed this life Wednesday, April 12, 2006, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. He was 67 and a native of Denham Springs. Visiting at MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home Inc., 7803 Florida Blvd., Denham Springs, on Friday, April 14, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Religious service at Lincoln Park Baptist Church, 2706 Garner St., Hammond, at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 15, conducted by the Rev. Leon Maryland Sr. Interment in Plainview Cemetery, Denham Springs. He is survived by his wife, Rene Levi; a devoted sister, Idella Dillion and husband Bobby Joe, Denham Springs; a brother, Andrew Scott and wife Dorothy, Baton Rouge; two sons, Tyrone Turner and wife Tina, and Bernard Turner, all of Baton Rouge; two stepsons, Keith and Joseph; three daughters, Tammy Smith, Springfield, and Kim Moore and Faye Williams, both of Hammond; two stepdaughters, Jada and Joy; nieces and nephews; cousins, including Elmonia Maryland; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, James H.
