LILES, EDITH VINYARD HARRISS 
Edith Vinyard Harriss Liles, age 91, died Friday, Feb. 13, 2004, after a
lengthy battle with Parkinson's disease. She is survived by her husband of
58 years, Francis Burr "Slim" Liles; a son, M.S. "Cage" Harriss; two
daughters, Edith Yvonne Harriss and Mona Liles Bullard and husband Lyndle;
four grandchildren and spouses, Brian and Becky Harriss, Angela and Kevin
Luker, Micah and Alicia Harriss and Kim and Shane O'Brien; five great-
grandchildren, Patrick and Brandon Harriss, Meghan and Hannah Luker and 
Cameron O'Brien; a brother, Walter Vinyard; and two sisters, Lesibelle
Cowen and Myrtle Newman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester
and Mary Addie Vinyard; first husband, Micajah Shepard Harriss; brothers,
Oscar, E.J. and Clinton Vinyard; a daughter-in-law, Lucille Fitzmorris
Harriss; and a great-grandson, Cason Harriss. Visitation at Harry McKneely
& Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. Visitation
at First United Methodist Church, Ponchatoula, from 9:30 a.m. until 
religious service at 11 a.m. Monday. Interment in Wetmore Cemetery.

LILES, FRANCIS BURR "SLIM" 
Francis Burr "Slim" Liles, 93, died Monday, Aug. 11, 2008. Survived by his
daughters and a son-in-law, Edith Yvonne Harriss, and Mona Liles Bullard
and the Rev. Lyndle Bullard; four grandchildren and spouses, Brian and
Becky Harriss, Angela and Kevin Luker, Micah Harriss, and Kim and Shane
O'Brien; five great-grandchildren, Patrick and Brandon Harriss, Meghan and
Hannah Luker and Cameron O'Brien; and a sister, Audrey Schiffler. Preceded
in death by his beloved wife of 58 years, Edith Vinyard Harriss Liles; son
and daughter-in-law, Micajah "Cage" Harris and Lou Fitzmorris Harris;
parents, Henry Burr and Mary Bourg Liles; brother, Roy Foster Liles; two
sisters, Marjorie Turnbull and Betty Jo Harrell; and great-grandson, Cason
Harriss. Visitation at Ponchatoula First United Methodist Church,
Ponchatoula, on Wednesday, Aug. 13, from 9:30 a.m. until religious service
at 11 a.m. Interment in Wetmore Cemetery. An online guestbook is available
