Mrs. Linton died Sunday, September 16, 2007 at Queen City Nursing Center in Meridian, Miss. She is survived by a daughter, Beverly Ann Hodges and her husband, James of Weaver, Ala., a son, Rufus L. (Sonny) Warren. III and his wife, Jan of Hammond, La., six grandchildren: Debra Ann Hodge of Long Beach, Miss., Donna Michele Johnson of Olive Branch, Miss., Natalie Elaine Bunn of Anniston, Ala., James Kevin Warren of Memphis, Tenn., Elizabeth Suzanne Adkins of O'Fallon, Ill., Leigh Ann Favalora of Hammond, La., nine great- grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Z. Furnal services for Z. Z. Linton, 86, who died Saturday at Wiginton Memorial Hospital, were held Sunday; interment was in Greenlawn Cemetery with the Thomas Funeral Home in charlge. The family moved to Hammond in 1924. He is survived by two sons, W. Harris Linton of Hammond and George Austin Linton of Austin, Tex.; and by several grandchildren.
