Dianne Lipari died on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2007, at her home in Chesbrough. She was 54, born in New Orleans on Feb. 11, 1953. She was a member of Morgan City Church of Christ and also attended Big Creek Church of Christ. Mr. Joseph C. Lipari, 87, was born January 18, 1920 and passed away March 1, 2007 in Houston, Texas. He was a lifetime resident of Hammond. He is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Elaine Estess Lipari, one grandchild Brittany Lipari and his parents Leonardo and Antoinette Lipari. Mr. Lipari was a WWII veteran serving in the US Army. He was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus JFKennedy Council # 2952, and a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #3652. He enjoyed working as a volunteer for Louisiana Special Olympics. He is a retiree of Kaiser Aluminum. A retired carpenter and resident of Port Allen, he passed away at 9:26 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, 2003, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge. He was 81 and a native of Tickfaw. He was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran of World War II.
