He is survived by his wife, Rita Myles Livers of Ponchatoula; five daughters, Linda Banks Livers, Alma Jean Livers and Vandella Weary, all of Ponchatoula, Demetrice Dantzler of Albany and Yvonne Richardson of Independence; three sons, Melvin Joseph Livers, James Ray Livers and Larry Alphonse Livers, all of Ponchatoula; one sister, Lillie Mae Ellis of Ponchatoula; 18 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. His parents, Rogers and Laura Arnold Livers; one brother, Johnny King; and three great-grand- children, preceded him in death. Visitation will be Saturday at Richardson Funeral Home, Hammond, from 9 to 10 a.m. The funeral will be at 11 at Pentecostal One Way Holy Church of God. Survivors include his mother, Consuela Livers, Ponchatoula; father, Stephen Pea; sister, KeAnto Livers; two brothers, Kerion and Michael Livers, all of Ponchatoula; grandfathers, Robert Banks, Detroit, James Pea, Ponchatoula; and grandmother, Linda Banks.The Rev. James Ellis conducted the graveside service this morning at Ponchatoula Cemetery.
