L'LOPIS, RUBY
A retired PBX operator and a resident of New Orleans, she died at 9 p.m. 
Friday, May 20, 2011, at Tulane Medical Center, New Orleans. She was 68 and
a native of Independence. Visiting at A. Wesley Funeral Home, 10810 
Ventress Drive, Maringouin, Tuesday, May 31, was from noon to 4:30 p.m. 
Graveside service at St. Louis No. 3 Cemetery, 3421 Esplanade, New Orleans, 
Wednesday, June 1, at 11 a.m., conducted by Bishop Shelton Fabre. She is 
survived by three children, Terrence, Troy and Tanya; daughter-in-law, son-
in-law, sisters, brothers, five grandchildren, nieces, nephews and numerous 
other relatives and friends. You may share sympathies, memories and
