John 3:16. Dennis Michael Lobell, a resident of Livingston, died on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Northoaks Medical Center in Hammond. He was 62 and retired from DSM Copolymer with over twenty seven years of service. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Monday, June 4, 2012 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Visitation will resume on Tuesday at 10:00am. Religious services will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. He is survived by mother and stepfather, Lois and Wendell Hood, grandchildren, Jordan Lane Lobell and Jayda Cherri Ficklin, two brothers, Mark Lobell and Karl Lobell and wife Sammie, one sister, Deborah Major and husband Keith, and longtime companion Donna Lynn Breaux, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and special pet Lily Rose. He was preceded in death by, wife Donna Brasher Lobell, father, Howard O. Lobell, son, Jesse Joseph Lobell and daughter, Jude Michele Lobell. *************************************************************************** Obituary published in The Advocate (Baton Rouge) on: 12/20/2011 LOBELL, HENRY "LARRY" Age 61 and a longtime resident of Hammond, Larry passed away on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011, at North Oaks Medical Center. He was a teacher and coach at Hammond High School and a member of Woodland Park Baptist Church. Larry leaves behind his wife of 41 years, Rhonda Nickens Lobell; mother, Kathron B. Lobell Keen; daughter, Kristin Lobell; as well as his grandson and "apple of his eye,",Kylar Joseph Lobell Dorsa. He is also survived by his sisters, Martha Campbell and Robin Lobell. Preceding Larry in death were his father, Elmer Lobell; and stepfather, Lonnie Keen. Funeral services were held at Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, west of Hammond, on Monday, Dec. 19, at 3 p.m. Interment followed in Carter Cemetery in Springfield. Pallbearers were Pat King Jr., Brandon Nickens, Bobby Depaula, Sam Costa, Glenn Guidry and Kenny Breaud. Honorary pallbearers were Pat King Sr., Gerald Wainwright, Brian Dorsa and Ken Fortenberry. She was born November 3, 1920, in Jackson, Louisiana. Surviving are her son & daughter-in-law, Lonnie A. and Debra M. Lobell; daughter, Lorraine Lobell Stevens; 4 grandsons, Adam (Dodi) and Lance (Grace) Lobell, Matthew (Beth) and Cory Stevens; 6 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon N. Lobell; parents, Lonnie and Stella Bridges Kennard; two infant sisters; great-grandson Spencer Knapp. Friends will be received Sunday, July 21, 2013 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Hammond.
