He was 56, born Dec. 12, 1953, in Baton Rouge. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Tyrney Lockwood, Greensburg; three daughters, Crystal Reneé St. Cyr and her husband, Brandon, Roseland, Sarah Ann Lockwood, Hammond, and Emma Marie Lockwood, Greensburg; two grandchildren, Blane Brandon St. Cyr and Ava Ann-Marie St. Cyr; parents, H.D. and Hattie Marie Lockwood, Greensburg; two sisters, Janis E. Poché, Dutchtown, and Patricia Brussack, Athens, Ga.; niece, Kristy Anthony; and nephew, Rodney Poché. Pallbearers will be Mitch, Blake and Clay Wilson, Curtis and Justin Matherne, Brandon St. Cyr, Paul Pittman and Harlan Poché. Honorary pallbearers are Randy and Butch Taylor, Al Travis and Nathan Robertson. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, on Sunday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation continues at New Zion Baptist Church, Kentwood, on Monday from 9 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. She was 81. She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, William Laird Craig and Valerie Hecht Craig, of Lafayette; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Lawrence Kelly Lockwood, of Hammond and James Robert Lockwood and Karla Tuley Lockwood, of Springfield, Va.; three grandchildren, Mattie, John and Benjamin Lockwood; and countless other relatives and friends who were precious to her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis Sellinger Craig and Josie Powell Craig, who were of Mansfield; and two brothers, Francis Sellinger Craig Jr., who was of Baton Rouge and Rufus Holt Craig, who was of Pineville. Dr. Lockwood was a feminist, a social worker, an educator, an avid bridge player and an extensive traveler. She was educated at LSU, the University of Southern California and the University of Oklahoma. She practiced social work for 25 years and taught social work for 18 years at Florida State University and Southeastern Louisiana University. Memorial service at First Presbyterian Church, Hammond, on Saturday, Dec. 22, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made either to Hillary Clinton for President, P.O.
