She died at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28, 2005, at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond. She was a native of Lincoln County, Miss., and a resident of Kentwood. She was 85. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 30. Visiting at the funeral home from 9 a.m. Monday, Jan. 31, until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Danny Smith. Interment in Osyka Cemetery, Osyka, Miss. She is survived by two daughters, Faye Lofton, Kentwood, and Brenda Perrere, Napoleonville; three sons, Austin Lofton Jr., Grand Isle, Billy Lofton, New Caney, Texas, and Troy Lofton, Kentwood; four sisters, a brother, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving are his wife, Barbara Ann Chustz Lofton; 3 daughter, Sharon Schillace, Wanda and Colleen Lofton; 1 son, Robert William Cook; 4 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
