LONGINO, OZIE SR. 
Ozie Longino Sr., 78, died Wednesday, April 17, 2002, at Lallie Kemp
Medical Center, Independence. He was a native of Monticello, Miss., and
resident of Hammond. Survivors include his wife, Eloise Longino, Hammond;
his daughters, Delsene L. Venson and Pauline H. Longino, both of Chicago,
and Quiz Catching and Aline L. Tyler, both of Sontag, Miss.; his sons,
Clarence Longino of Chicago, Ozie Longino Jr. of Sontag, and Larry Longino
and Alex Tyler, both of Monticello; his sisters, Velma Showers, Neomia
Longino and Daisy Longino, all of Hammond, and Mattie R. Garner of Silver
Creek, Miss.; his brothers, Carl Longino Jr. of Biloxi, Miss., and D.B.
Longino of Jackson, Miss.; and 11 grandchildren. The funeral was held
Saturday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Silver Creek. Burial was in
the church cemetery. N.A. James Funeral Home, Hammond, was in charge of the
arrangements.
