He was a senior at North Louisiana Baptist College and an employee of Bed, Bath and Beyond, West Monroe. He was training to serve on his second mission trip to Nigeria this fall - "beyond the power lines." Visitation at Charlet Funeral Home Inc., Zachary, on Thursday, July 30, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation at Grace Baptist Church, Zachary, on Friday, July 31, from 11 a.m. until service at 1 p.m., conducted by pastors Sonny McGuffee and Tom Schreeder. Burial in Mount Carmel Cemetery, St. Francisville. Survived by his parents, David and Barbara Looney; 10 siblings, Zane Looney and wife Jessica, of Slidell, Ariel Ledford and husband Kelly, of Knoxville, Tenn., Evan Looney, of Hammond, Nora Looney, of Oklahoma, Candace Looney, of Longview, Texas, and Sean, Ivan, Tiffany, Jens and Johan Looney, all of St. Francisville; and grandparents, Delia Looney, of Peculiar, Mo., and Carol and Alvaro Corredor, of Kansas City, Mo. Preceded in death by his brother, Ian Kenneth Looney; and grandfather, Kenneth O. Looney. Pallbearers will be Michael Cruff, Isaiah Gibbs, Zane Looney, Evan Looney, Sean Looney, Stephen Allen, Ivan Looney and U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Brian Ullo. He was a member of Ambassador Baptist Church and raised in Grace Baptist Church.
