Religious services at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Springfield, at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Interment in Carter Cemetery. Survived by his wife, Louise Martin Loper, Hammond; two sons, Curtis Loper, Greensburg, and James R. Loper, Hammond; a daughter, Brenda DiBenedetto, Hammond; a sister, Estelle Vallado, Springfield; seven grand- children and a great-grandson.
