Carolyn Gulino Tuzzolino Lott, resident of Crosby, Texas, died at the age of 79 in Baytown, Texas, on the evening of May 24, 2012. She was born in Amite, Louisiana, the eighth of nine children, to Vincent and Dorothy Gulino. She was preceded in death by her parents and five of her siblings: Catherine Bruno, Ciro Gulino, Loretta Guarino, Rosalie Rispone, and Mary Rispone. Carolyn is survived by three sisters, Jo Spedale, Anne Misita, and Elizabeth Bruno, as well as three daughters, Cynthia T. Toney, Nicolette T. Gilmore, and Regina Tuzzolino Kuypers, from her first husband Nick Tuzzolino III, from whom she was widowed in 1979. She was also preceded in death by her second husband, Kenneth Lott. Four grandchildren, Abby Varnado Gregory, Colleen Gilmore, Sarah Gilmore, and Holland Gilmore, Jr., will miss the company of their Nana. So will the many nieces and nephews in her large family miss their aunt. During her lifetime, Carolyn was employed by the State of Louisiana, Southeastern Louisiana University, and Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church.
