She was 91 and a native of Independence. Visiting at St. Augustine Catholic Church on Monday, Feb. 13, from 8 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Lowell Case, SST. Interment in the church mausoleum. She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Emelda Munson, Barbara Myer and husband Norman, Wanda Collins and husband Charles, Emily Louis, James Gerard Louis, Carl Ray Louis, Denise Louis Williams, Mary Veronica Gray and husband Hase, and Gloria Louis Joseph; 24 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren; three godchildren, John Wise, Germaine Dyer and Willie "Bo" McClain; two sisters-in-law, Corine Martin and Gertrude Louis; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
