LOUVIERE, ADA SCHEXNAYDRE 
A resident of Convent, she died Sunday, Nov. 6, 2005, at 11:30 a.m. at
Tangi Pines Nursing Home in Amite. She was 99 and a native of Brusly. She
was the beloved wife of the late Edmond J. Louviere Sr.; beloved mother of
Martha Jane Wooddall, Mary Sheets, Edmond J. "T-Poke" Louviere Jr. and the
late Dianne Blanchard; mother-in-law of Bill Wooddall, Shirley Louviere and
the late Aubrey Sheets; grandmother of Pam Bordelon, Chad and Rodney
Louviere, Derek Sheets, Robert Wooddall and Stacey LeBiche; and great-
grandmother of Ken, Kelsie, Caid, Kyleigh, Rachael, Robert, Corey and
Brandon. She also was preceded in death by three sisters, a brother, and
her parents, Albert and Eva Schexnaydre. Relatives and friends of the
family are invited to attend the funeral Mass at St. Michael's Catholic
Church, Convent, on Thursday, Nov. 10, at 11 a.m. Visitation at the church
on Thursday after 9 a.m. until funeral time. Entombment in St. Mary's
Mausoleum, Union. H.C. Alexander Funeral Home, Lutcher, is in charge of
arrangements.

LOUVIERE, RUTH HESSION
Ruth Hession Louviere, 91, of Hammond, died Tuesday, July 20, 2010, at 
Hammond Nursing Home. She was born April 30, 1919, in Thibodaux, daughter 
of Austin and Clara Stone Hession, who preceded her in death. Surviving are 
her son and daughter-in-law, Wilmer J. "Bill" Jr. and Josie Mike Louviere; 
daughter-in-law, Kathleen Reiger Louviere; grandchildren, Dennis and Renee 
Louviere Blanchard, Will and Renee Louviere, Michael and Tania Louviere, 
Clay and Lisa Louviere Goings, Brian and Misty Louviere, Steven and 
Jennifer Louviere, David and Mandy Louviere; and great-grandchildren, 
Christopher, Benjamin and Jennifer Blanchard, Meghan, Jordan and Joseph 
Louviere, Lena, Michael, Hannah and Adriana Louviere, Landon Goings, 
Kendall and Jacob Louviere, Josiah Louviere. Preceded in death by her 
husband, W.J. "Dubby" Louviere Sr.; son, Robert "Bob" Michael Louviere; six 
sisters, Gladys Godchaux, Doris Herbert, Elaine Deitenbeck, Miriam Johnson, 
Sara Anne Guidry and Mary Kathleen Hession; and three brothers, Austin 
Hession Jr., Edward Hession and L.J. Hession. Visitation at Harry McKneely 
& Son Funeral Home in Hammond on Saturday, July 24, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. 
and after 8 a.m. Sunday until chapel services at 2 p.m. Interment will 
follow in Sand Hill Cemetery, Ponchatoula. Contributions may be made to St.
