Thompson Funeral Home, Hammond, LA LOWRY, DENNIS STEVEN Dennis Steven Lowry, 67, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2013 from Lymphoma, due to exposure from Agent Orange. He was a native of Los Angeles, California and a resident of Hammond. Dennis served our country in the U.S. Army, during Vietnam and received a Bronze Star. He was a hardworking and loving man, who will be missed dearly. Dennis leaves behind his loving wife of 33 years, Susan Lowry; daughters, Kimberly Christensen, Heather Bunderson and Stephanie Dial; sons, Todd, Mark, Eric and Peter Lowry, Jason Miller, along with his grandchildren, Austin, Jensen and Grayson Sharp, Avery and Reagan Miller, Kacey Higgins, Jordan and Natalie Richardson, Marlys and Parker Lowry, Aidan Walsh, Aislinn and Remy Riley, Chris Lowry, Hannah and Ashlyn Lowry, Hope and Kai Lowry and one on the way. He is also survived by his parents, Raymond, Sr. and Norma Lowry; brothers, Raymond Lowry, Jr., Douglas and Keith Lowry. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, 1190 Hwy 51 North, Ponchatoula, LA, on Monday, November 18, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Private services with military honors will follow on Tuesday.
