LUARK, JANICE C.
Ponchatoula - Janice C. Luark, 53, died Monday, May 12, 2003.  She was a
native of Cincinnati and a homemaker.  Survivors include three daughters,
Melissa Grice of Ponchatoula, Leslie Hernandez of Killian and Shannon Fitch
of Robert; one son, Gary Luark of Alabama; one sister, Betty McCrory of
Ponchatoula; and six grandchildren.  Her parents, Edwin John and Rose
Schmidt; and one sister preceded her in death.  Marvin Wilson conducted the
funeral today at N.A. James Funeral Home, Hammond.  In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to Hancock Bank or Serenity House, 247 N. 12th St.,
Ponchatoula 70454.
