He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Vereta Stokes Lubrano; parents, Mary Messina and Frank Lubrano; siblings, Michael Lubrano Sr., Victor Lubrano Sr., Millie L. Romano, Rose Lubrano, Julia Lubrano, and Baby Frank. He was a proud and loving father, father-in-law, grandfather and brother, leaving behind his children Gina L. Griffin, Vickie Lubrano, Terri L. Snow and Joseph Lubrano, Jr.; in-laws, Ricky Griffin, Charlie Snow, and Sylvia F. Lubrano; four grandchildren, Rachael Griffin, Lindsey, Lauren and Leslie Snow; sisters, Mary L May and Frances Lubrano; lady friend, Ethel Wust. Joseph was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Korean War. He belonged to VFW Post 3706 in Chalmette, LA, and retired from Service Foundry (subsidiary of Avondale Shipyard) after 35 yrs. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at the Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula from 6 until 9 p.m., and on Wednesday after 8 a.m. until the 11 a.m. services with Fr. Fr. John D. Sims, O.P., officiating.
