She was 84. Visiting at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, with a vigil prayer service at 7 p.m. Visiting at the funeral home, 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Saturday. Religious services at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Saturday, conducted by a Dominican priest. Interment in Ponchatoula Cemetery. Survived by two brothers, Norman Luquette, Gettysburg, Pa., and George Luquette, Greenwell Springs; and a sister, Gloria Luquette, Springfield. He was 75, born Aug. 25, 1925, in Ponchatoula. Visiting was at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. Visiting at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to 1:20 p.m. Saturday. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 14040 Greenwell Springs Road, at 1:45 p.m. Saturday, celebrated by the Rev. Tom Duh’. Graveside services at Ponchatoula Cemetery, Ponchatoula, at 4 p.m. Saturday. Left behind in great sadness are his wife of 47 years, Jeanette F. Luquette; a son, Robert J.M. Luquette; a daughter-in-law, Cynthia Luquette; two grand- sons, Robert M. Luquette and Christopher J. Luquette; a granddaughter, Courtney N. Luquette; his twin sister, Gloria A. Matthews, Springfield; a brother, Norman A. Luquette, Gettysburg, Pa.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Horace J. Luquette and Josephine D. Luquette; and two sisters, Elvie Luquette and Rita Luquette. Pallbearers will be Robert Luquette, Christopher Luquette, Charles Courtade, Bruce Janet, Russell Courtade, Ralph Shook and Jimmy Dunbar. He was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and Usher Society.
