Thompson Funeral Home, Hammond, LA LYTELL, THURMAN PAUL "T.J." Age 65, a native of Marrero and resident of Hammond, Thurman passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at North Oaks Medical Center. Thurman is sharing the date of his spiritual rebirth with his grandson NoahÕs birthday. He was a retired singer and drummer; member of Church of the King in Abita Springs, LA; National HOG Chapter and Hammond LA HOG Chapter. T.J. touched the hearts of everyone he met. He will be greatly missed. Thurman leaves behind his loving wife, Cheryl Lytell; daughter, Heather Parker and husband Zack; step-daughter, Misti Weedman and husband Adam; two sons, Heath Lytell and Thurmond Lytell and wife Kasey; step-son, Joshua Albert and wife Dawn; sister, Barbara Lytell and twelve grandchildren, Brook, Z.J., Hayden, Hunter, Kaelyn, Trey, Joshua, A.J., Byron, Noah, Isabelle and Kaitlyn. Preceding Thurman in death were his father, Paul Lytell and mother, Anna Champagne. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life service from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, Baptist, on Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. The visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service time.
