MADERA, MRS. LUCILLE HURST 
She died at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2005, at Summit Hospital in
Baton Rouge. She was 74, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Denham
Springs. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, on Saturday, Aug.
13, from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Elizabeth
Catholic Church, Kentwood, Saturday at 11:00 a.m., conducted by the Rev.
Joe Camilleri. Interment in Greensburg Cemetery, Greensburg. She is
survived by three sisters, Mary H. Smith, Prairieville, Rose Loftin, Eight
Mile, Ala., and Jane Gegenheimer, Leesville. She was preceded in death by
her husband, Jessie Madera; parents, John and Frances Hurst; three
brothers, infant James Hurst, Floyd Hurst and John W. Hurst; and three
sisters, Dixie Lou Hurst, Doris Gonzales and Jolise Galloway.
