MADERE, AMELIA C.
Amelia C. Madere, 91, died Sunday, May 11, 2003, at Hammond Nursing Home.
She was a native of Hahnville and a resident of Hammond.  She is survived
by one daughter, Joan Pizzolato of Hammond; one son, Gene Madere of 
Springfield; one sister, Marion Zeringue of Luling; one brother, Jean
Champagne of Luling; four grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.  She was
preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Madere; six brothers and two 
sisters.  Visitation will be today at Geisler Funeral Home, Ponchatoula,
from 6 to 9 p.m. The funeral is Tuesday at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Holy
Rosary Cemetery, Taft, at 11:15 a.m.

MADERE, NORMA TRICHE
LaPlace - Norma Triche Madere, 75, died Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2000. She was
a native of Montz.  Survivors include her husband, James S. Madere;
children, James D. and John Randy Madere and Cheryl M. Naquin, all of
LaPlace and Janelle M. Bovia, Maurepas; sister, Daisy T. Arvell, Hammond;
seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  Three siblings, Joseph
Gly, Verlyn M. Triche and Helen T. Richoux Weber, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, LaPlace, today from 5 to
10 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. until the funeral at 11. The funeral will
be held at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, LaPlace, and burial will be in
St. John Memorial Gardens, LaPlace.
