MAGGIO, BUSTER GEORGE

A resident and native of Independence, he died at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2002, 
at his home after a lengthy battle with colon cancer. He was 57. Visitation was at 
McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Visitation at the 
funeral home from 8 a.m. to 9:40 a.m. Thursday. Religious service at Mater Dolorosa 
Catholic Church, Independence, at 10 a.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Paul 
McDuffie. Interment in Colonial Cemetery, Independence. Survived by his wife, Louise 
Gill Maggio, Independence; a daughter, Stacie Louise Vitrano, Independence; a son, 
Bryan Scott Maggio, Independence; and two grandchildren, Garrett Cole Vitrano and 
Taylor Nicole Vitrano. Preceded in death by his parents, George and Theresa Maggio. 
The family would like to thank Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center and Trinity 
Hospice and their staffs for their care and support. He was deeply loved and will 
be greatly missed.

MAGGIO, HENRY RICHARD 

TICKFAW - Henry Richard Maggio, 70, died Tuesday, June 18, 2002, at Hammond 
Rehabilitation Center. He was a native of Chicago. He is survived by his brother, 
Joseph Maggio of Tickfaw. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and 
Ann Honeyman Maggio. A graveside service will be held Friday at Elm Lawn Memorial 
Park in Elmhurst, Ill. Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, is in charge.

MAGGIO, JOSEPH WILLIAM 
Tickfaw - Joseph William Maggio, 75, died Friday, December 26, 2003, at North 
Oaks Medical Center in Hammond. A native of Chicago and resident of Tickfaw, he 
is survived by his wife, Margaret Manina Maggio of Tickfaw; three sons, Joseph 
N. Maggio of Algonquin, Ill., Mark A. Maggio of Tickfaw and Victor Maggio of 
Belvidere, Ill.; and nine grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a son, 
Jeffrey R. Maggio; a brother, Richard Henry Maggio; and two grandchildren. 
Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home of Hammond is in charge of the arrangements.

MAGGIO, ROSALIE 

DENHAM SPRINGS - Rosalie Maggio, 68, died Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2000, at Harvest 
Manor Nursing Home, Denham Springs. She was a native of Independence.
Survivors include her sister, Jo Dorsa, Kenner. She was preceded in death by a 
brother, Buster Maggio. The funeral was Saturday with burial in Colonial Cemetery. 
Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home, Hammond, was in charge.
