MAHONEY, ROBERT SCHERER 
Ponchatoula - A graveside service will be held Thursday at Parklawn Memorial 
Gardens in Hammond at 1:30 p.m. for Robert Scherer Mahoney, 55, who died 
Saturday, Jan. 3, 2003, at his home. A native of New Orleans, survivors include 
his wife, Linda T. Mahoney of Ponchatoula; two sons, Robert Scherer Mahoney Jr. 
and Mark Daniel Mahoney, both of Mandeville; one daughter, Molly Mahoney 
Harrison of Mandeville; five stepsons, Bret Hart of Livingston, Chris, Jack, 
Jason and John Hart, all of Hammond; nine step-grandchildren and one grandchild; 
two brothers, Edwin I. Mahoney of Picayune, Miss., and James W. Mahoney of 
Jefferson; and four sisters, Jeanne M. McCollister of Bay St. Louis, Miss., Ruth 
A. Mahoney of Jefferson, Mary M. Murry of Alexandria and Ann M Dragna of 
Mandeville. His parents, Robert Emmett and Dorothy Tremblay Mahoney, preceded 
him in death. Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, is in charge.
