PITTMAN EDWARDS A resident of Hammond, she died Monday, Oct. 30, 2000, at Belle Maison Nursing Home, Hammond. She was 70 and a native of New Orleans. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. until religious services in the chapel at 1 p.m. Friday. Interment in Sharon Church Cemetery, Amite. Survived by two sons, Jesse T. Edwards and John E. Edwards, both of Tampa, Fla.; two daughters, Janet Valenti-Kurtz, Tampa, and Judy A. Edwards, Hammond; two grandsons; three granddaughters; a great-granddaughter; and a brother, Ernest J. Pittman Jr., Mobile, Ala.
