MALONE, MARJORIE E. PITTMAN EDWARDS
A resident of Hammond, she died Monday, Oct. 30, 2000, at Belle Maison
Nursing Home, Hammond. She was 70 and a native of New Orleans. Visitation
at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Thursday and from 8 a.m. until religious services in the chapel at 1 p.m.
Friday. Interment in Sharon Church Cemetery, Amite. Survived by two sons,
Jesse T. Edwards and John E. Edwards, both of Tampa, Fla.; two daughters,
Janet Valenti-Kurtz, Tampa, and Judy A. Edwards, Hammond; two grandsons;
three granddaughters; a great-granddaughter; and a brother, Ernest J.
Pittman Jr., Mobile, Ala. Preceded in death by her husband, Chuck Malone;
and parents, Ernest J. and Zula Crowe Pittman.

MALONE, VINCENT
Vincent Malone, 40, Amite businessman, died Sunday at his home in Amite. 
Funeral services were held Monday with interment in Amite Cemetery.  He is
survived by his wife, the former Evelyn Perry; two sons, James V. and Davis
Charles; his mother, Mrs. Rita Cefalu; one brother, Jack Malone, all of
Amite.
