She was a native of Pine Grove and member of Live Oaks Untied Methodist Church, Watson. Survivors include a son, Clyde L. Wheat Jr., French Settlement; a stepdaughter, Maudie Carey, Central; a stepson, T. J. Manchester, Folsom; two sisters, Vivian Rhodes and Lillian Foster; two brothers, W.M. and Jim King, all of Watson; eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a great-great- grandchild. Her husband, Tommy Manchester; first husband, Clyde Wheat Sr.; four brothers and three stepdaughters, preceded her in death. The Rev. Mark Crosby conducted the funeral this morning at Pine Grove United Methodist Church, Pine Grove, and burial was in the church cemetery. Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, was in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Live Oak United Methodist Church Building Fund. ***************************************************************************
