She was 89, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Morganza. Visitation at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 21, from 12:30 p.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Miles Walsh, celebrant. Interment in Roselawn Memorial Park. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jack C. and Ethel Manno of Baton Rouge; daughter and son-in-law, Vicki Manno Sinagra and Joseph Sinagra of Independence; four grandchildren; 10 great-grand- children; three sisters, Rita P. Schiro, Tena Purpera and Antionette Carona, all of Baton Rouge; and two brothers, Jimmie Purpera of Baton Rouge and Dr. Phillip Purpera of Lafayette. She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Kelly C. Manno; four brothers and three sisters. She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church.
