MANTON, MARY MEYERS
Ponchatoula - Mary Meyers Manton, 70, died Monday, Oct. 1, 2001, at North
Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. She is survived by one son, Jackie Lynn
Manton of Ponchatoula; two sisters, Rose Day of Willington, Tenn., and
Barbara Ann Collura of Hammond; one brother, Melvin Meyers of Ponchatoula;
two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by
her husband, Colon Manton Jr.; her parents, Charlie Meyers Jr. and Lillian
Wager Meyers; and three brothers, Charles, Franklin and Walter Meyers. A
graveside service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Ponchatoula Cemetery. 
Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, is in charge.
