He was 29 and a native of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, on Saturday, Nov. 22, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., with a memorial service at 4:30 p.m., the Rev. Denny Perrin, officiating. He is survived by his mother, Ellen Ann Perrin, of Arlington, Texas; father, Charles Mapes, of Hammond; five sisters, Lindsey Mapes Labee and her daughter, Lunden, both of Baton Rouge, Cinnamon Faulk, of Mobile, Ala., Christian Bowman, of Denham Springs, Carly Scharf, of Arlington, and Leah Mapes, of Hammond; and a grandmother, Sarah Mapes.
