MAPES, JUDE AARON
A resident of Gonzales and an electrician with Bayou Electric, he passed
away unexpectedly on Friday, Nov. 14, 2008. He was 29 and a native of Baton
Rouge. Visiting at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, on Saturday, Nov. 22, from
3 p.m. to 6 p.m., with a memorial service at 4:30 p.m., the Rev. Denny
Perrin, officiating. He is survived by his mother, Ellen Ann Perrin, of
Arlington, Texas; father, Charles Mapes, of Hammond; five sisters, Lindsey
Mapes Labee and her daughter, Lunden, both of Baton Rouge, Cinnamon Faulk,
of Mobile, Ala., Christian Bowman, of Denham Springs, Carly Scharf, of
Arlington, and Leah Mapes, of Hammond; and a grandmother, Sarah Mapes.

MAPES, WINSTON
A resident of Robert, he died Thursday, March 8, 2001, at his home. He was
75 and a native of Hammond. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Visitation at Harry
McKneely & Son Funeral Home chapel, Ponchatoula, from 9 a.m. Saturday until
religious services at 11 a.m. Interment in Hyde Cemetery, Chesbrough. 
Survived by his wife, Sarah Stevens Mapes, Robert; four daughters, Linda
Lowe, Bedford, Texas, Kathleen Liner, Hammond, Corey Godwin, Arkadelphia,
Ark., and Shirlee Mapes, Roseland; two sons, Harold Mapes, Katy, Texas, and
Charlie Mapes, Hammond; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, Tinsey and Elma Stevens Mapes; two sons,
Jeffery and Steven Mapes; and a brother, Leey Mapes.
