Died at 6:05 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, 1998, at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. He was 75, a native and resident of Independence. Visiting at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to 10:40 a.m. Saturday. Religious services at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church, Independence, at 11 a.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Dean Martin. Entombment in Colonial Mausoleum, Independence. Survived by wife, Carmela Taromina Marciano, Independence; two daughters and a son-in-law, Rose Mary Marciano and Ronnie Lee, and Janet Marciano Jones, all of Independence; two grandsons, Richard Lee and Johnny Lee, both of Independence; a niece, Rosalie O'Boyle, Dallas; an aunt, Rosa Raia, Rockford, Ill.; two step- grandchildren, Candy Jones Newsom, Mount Hermon, and Leroy Jones Jr., Loranger; and four stepgreat-grandchildren.
