He was 20. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home chapel, Hammond, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, with religious services at 7:30 p.m., conducted by Rev. Francis Daunt. Private interment in Greenwood Cemetery, New Orleans. Survived by his father, Dale Edwin Marks, Baton Rouge; mother, Jane L. Bowles, Franklin; and aunts and uncles. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Gus and Edna Bowles and Edwin and Jeanne Marks. Golda V. Marks, 93, widow of the late Max L. Marks, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2006, in Presbyterian Hospital, Dallas. Mrs. Marks was a native of Kentwood and a resident of Baton Rouge for many years before moving to Houston. Mrs. Marks was a member of Houston's South Main Baptist Church, the Garden Club, Daughters of the American Revolution, Rotary Anne, United Daughters of the Confederacy and the Delphian Society. She is survived by a son, Dr. Lehman Marks, Dallas; daughter-in-law, Joyce Williams Marks; granddaughters, Debbie Marks and Mrs. Rebecca Baze; great-grandson, Parker Baze; nieces, Mrs. Andy Roby, Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Margo Underwood, Raleigh, N.C.
