She was 71. Visiting at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6. Visiting at the funeral home Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret's Catholic Church, Hungarian Settlement, at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Interment in church cemetery. She is survived by her daughter, Diana Maruschak, Hungarian Settlement; son and daughter-in-law, Steve B. and Sonya Jill Maruschak; grandson, Geza William Maruschak, all of Pensacola, Fla.; mother, Mary Ann Nemeth Cannon, Tickfaw; two brothers, Donald Cannon, Tickfaw, and Richard Cannon, Hammond; and three sisters, Faye A. Cannon-Jones, Fairhope, Ala., Barbara A. Cannon, Mobile, Ala., and Frances L. Cannon Kinchen, DeRidder. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve B. Maruschak Sr.; father, Percy Ray Cannon; brother, Karl Sydney Cannon; and sister, Mary Beth Cannon Traylor. She was a graduate of Hammond High School and a retired supervisor with the Louisiana Department of Public Safety, Office of Motor Vehicles. ***************************************************************************
