She was a native of Covington and a retired office manager. Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Mascair Bourgoyne and son-in-law, Gary; son, Thomas Anthony Mascair, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Susan; three grandchildren, Lisa Bourgoyne Guyllette and her husband, Shane, Thomas Anthony Mascair, III and his wife, Amy, and Devin Emile-Mascair; 3 great-grandchildren, Madison Elizabeth Guyllette, Thomas Anthony Mascair, IV and Emy Grace Mascair; sisters, Clara Beaujeaux and Valerie Nauertz and brothers, Gary, David and Dale Payne. She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 50 years, Thomas (Tom) Mascair, Sr., her adoptive parents, Jessie and Addie Brashier, her father, Clarence Payne, her mother, Zernia Miller, and a sister, Thelma Brashier Miller. Family and friends are invited to the visitation on Sunday, Feb. 3 from 6 until 10 p.m. at Geisler Funeral Home in Ponchatoula and on Monday after 9 a.m. until the religious service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Ponchatoula Cemetery. SR. Ponchatoula -- Burial was Monday at Ponchatoula Cemetery for Thomas "Tom" A. Mascair Sr., 69, who died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2004, at his home. He served in the U.S. Navy. Survivors include his wife, Elsie Brashier Mascair of Ponchatoula; his son, Thomas A. Mascair Jr. of Ponchatoula; one daughter, Deborah Bourgoyne of Ponchatoula; one brother, Dave E. Mascair of Ponchatoula; one sister, Darleen Breaux of Magnolia, Miss.; three grand- children and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emile T. Mascair and Lucy A. Charbonnet Mascair.
